Registering With the
Federal Trade Commission
In order to use Do-Not-Call Registry, your company must register with
the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). You will need to subscribe to the
individual area code lists you want to be able to check. The first
five area codes are available for free. The FTC will charge you
$54/year for each additional area code over five.
Once you have registered and selected (and if necessary, paid for) your
area codes, the FTC will issue you a Subscription Account Number (SAN).
You will need to enter that SAN into Do Not Call Sentry™ before you will
be able to access your area code lists. FTC registration is completed entirely online.
If you already have your SAN, click here.
If you do not have a SAN, please review these instructions first, before going to the
FTC site.
Here are the steps:
-
Create a Profile at the FTC's website
-
Subscribe to area
codes and receive your Subscription Account Number (SAN)
-
Enter your SAN into your company profile in Do
Not Call Sentry™
That's it! We do all of the downloads for
you and manage your lists to keep them current.
